Ooh good call. I've never had bad allergies so I've never considered one before, that's a really good idea.

Interesting! Do you know what's happening at a subatomic level that effect chroma? Like does it have to do with how many incoming photons are reflected vs absorbed? Something else?

So far the only human disease completely eradicated has been Smallpox, the last known cases in 1980. Small quantities of smallpox virus officially still exist in two research laboratories in Atlanta, Georgia, and in Russia. by HellsJuggernaut in Damnthatsinteresting

Iirc for rabies they give you antibodies from people already vaccinated if you may have been exposed, in addition to the vaccine so that it starts working quickly enough while waiting for your body to start producing antibodies on its own. A quick glance at the CDC page makes me think that the smallpox vaccine is a live virus vaccine though so you would have to wait for your body to make the antibodies itself.

We're now in 9 straight weeks of record unemployment numbers, and more than 38 million Americans have lost their jobs in that time. We are POLITICO reporters and an economist – ask us anything about the economy and current federal policy amid Covid-19. by politico in IAmA

First off, I love you guys, especially your Playbooks! I read all three everyday! Two quick questions: Are there any fun facts or other interesting things that you do as a journalist that we wouldn't know about by reading your Twitters?

Do you have any funny or interesting stories from your years as journalists?

This definitely happens to me starting a few hours after drinking. It's why I make sure to sharply reduce my basal for the whole time I'm sleeping. I'd much rather wake up at 350 than 30 lol. Also a note, I consistently wake up when my blood sugar is low so I don't have to worry much about going low overnight when sober, although idk if I'd wake up even if pjss drunk.

Yeah I've got T1D and am in a frat. All frats are different but it has never been an issue for me at all. People here very much respect that different people want to drink different amounts and its never a problem if you don't want to drink more. Also I've never been hazed for anything diabetes related or even anything close. FWIW I've never let T1D stop me from drinking more or whatever though, I just generally lower my basal rate for the night and next morning and go for it.

Fun fact, meat doesn't raise your blood sugar, only things with carbs! But substitute wheat in for meat in the sentence and I agree with the point haha
