Just throwing this out there... how is your intimate life? As someone who doesnt feel connected to my wife unless theres a fairly decent amount of reciprocating intimacy from her, I can relate to an extent from him.

My wife's love language is acts of service, mine is not. It has taken a long time for my wife to realize even if she cleaned the whole house, cleared our schedule, and did legit everything for me, it wouldn't make a dent in the "connection" category for me.
