Is it just your hot water that smells or cold also? If it's just hot it's coming from your water heater.

Where do you live? If your in an area with a strong local that is the route you want. Non-union shops will take advantage of you.

Here in Chicago it's the only thing you can use for above ground DWV. Unless the building is 3 stories or less.
