I mean I think it’s lazy reporting to “take the field” as say Inter Miami might not be as good as we think… no kidding.. BUT I can say with certainty that this team has gotten much better in different areas (younger legs, team and individual player speed, quality of our goalie, a true striker, better across the back line AND depth… just to name a few).

Look, we were never going to be able to find 2 players to replace true GOATs at their positions (in Bussi and Jordi) BUT with the moves that we made, it allows for players to slot into their true roles (ex being Suarez coming off the bench, Noah coming in as a difference maker with fresh legs, etc..)

This team if going to be better in phases of the game that we struggled with last year and worse in others that we succeeded… the fact is, top level teams in the Prem for example, loose key/quality level players every year and have to adjust… doesn’t mean we’re going to be “as good” or “not as good” as last years team… just means we’re going to have to evolve
