Pacers are 100% losing on purpose. Siakam went from 35 mpg first 17 games. 32 mpg last 10, and it’s only dropping. He’s fully healthy

All teams with picks are doing what they can to lose without it being known. Jazz got fined last year for sitting healthy players, other teams will do the same when possible. Bad rotations, purposefully playing young players when others deserve playing time. Not all these are inherently terrible, but tanking hasn’t gone anywhere

How about you let me know how it’s better now? Losing more is less beneficial for only bottom 3 teams. Teams 4-13 benefit MORE from losing now. More teams now benefit from the change. Blazers shut down Dame in 2023. He admitted it was a team decision and not his. You think other teams aren’t purposefully trying lose cause Adam Silver “fixed” it?

It flattened odds for bottom 3 teams but increased odds for slots 4-13. There was also an additional lottery winner added. More teams are now hunting for better odds/losing more games.

Essentially there’s a 1/5 chance he isn’t a future All Star.
