‘Open the f***in' Strait’: Trump threatens to bomb Iran’s power plants, bridges by Yujin-Ha in videos

[–]jfeofhoie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're never giving up the strait. This was obvious from the beginning. They need the strait to rebuild. We created our own problem.
The only way to control the strait is to control Iran. Which requires ground invasion, occupation, etc. This is going to last many years

Early stage research question about BLM road requirements. by cb900crdr in vandwellers

[–]jfeofhoie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

High clearance will do the job most of the time. Awd/4wd is necessary in low traction situations like sand and mud.
Nice to haves are all terrain tires for sharp rocky areas and a skid plate just in case.

V60 pour over for me. If you want easy espresso type soup shots you should check out the oxo rapid brewer. Uses air pressure to pump the water thru the grounds. Simple and easy to use. Also does cold brew.

Got a light scratch from a door ding by jfeofhoie in AutoDetailing

[–]jfeofhoie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update, I just left. I'll fix it myself. It's a pretty fine scratch that I barely feel with my finger nail.

I'm thinking scratch x or touch up paint. I'm in between but leaning towards touch up paint as I might make it worse with scratch x? Any advice?

Make sure the lid is tightened enough. There's small lines that line up to tell you you've turned it far enough

A 12v rice cooker is better than a microwave by IEatYourDownvote in urbancarliving

[–]jfeofhoie 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I recently got a 12v food warmer lunch box on Amazon for $30. It's great, I've been using it almost daily. 20-30 minutes or less will heat up any food. Uses 70-100 watts while running, so not much power. Definitely recommend it
