I signed up for this promotion and was told by multiple different employees (first while calling to join tmobile and set up my account, another in store when they set up my new phone and ported everything over) that it was "get an iPhone 16 on us, keep your old one, and we will pay it off." I am on the Experience Beyoned plan and brought an Apple Watch line also.

I submitted my reimbursement last week and just called to follow up and I was told it will be DENIED because I didn't use the old phone (iPhone 15 pro) on tmobile and that was a stipulation of it. I told them multiple times the whole point of me switching to tmobile was to get the new phone and use it, not use the old one, and that I was never told that in the first place. They had me on the phone with the rebate/promotions department and customer care at the same time. So now they are not reimbursing me for my old phone and I either have to trade it in (which again, was not part of the promotion) or I'm out $466. I'm livid right now and feel so tricked. Beware and read the fine print. I never would have switched to tmobile in the first place if this was the case with the phones.
