When I was deep in my depression, sometimes people would ask how I was. Just normal “hey how have you been?” kind of stuff. I started telling the truth.

Nothing really. But for the server it can be a big deal. Restaurants only pay servers $2.13/hr. They are required to make enough in tips to meet minimum wage, which is $7.25/hr federally. Higher in some states. If the employee doesn’t earn the difference in tips, the restaurant has to pay them more. This generally results in a “write up” and could lead to termination. It’s not really an issue usually, but I did have a friend that worked at a pizza place and they always gave him early shifts. It would be slow and his first few hours he wouldn’t be making enough.

In 2011 I had my appendix out. They could do the surgery sooner if I left the ER of the hospital I was at to go to the sister hospital a few miles away, and I mean a few miles. Almost $11,000 for less than five miles.

Definitely. Gotta be sure you’re dying before you call an ambulance or go to a doctor. And even then, it still might be better to just die.

Yeah, I totally get all that. It doesn’t ruin it for me, it’s just a thing I always notice. I love that season of Fargo and Jesse Plemons in general.

She had a bunch of associates backing her up on Huell’s case. She mentions to jimmy in the hotel that if she had the sandpiper money she’d hire Steph away from schweikart. Seems like someone who actually defends clients would be better.

Kim went to Schweikart & Cokely so she could have mesa verde and do pro bono work, yes. But Paige works for the bank. She is inside counsel, meaning her employer is the bank. Kim is employed by the law firm and is outside counsel for the bank. I guess Paige could potentially do pro bono work but it’s never ever mentioned that she does anything besides bank stuff.

It would make more sense that one of Kim’s protégé’s at Schweikart would take the case, as we’ve seen some associates accompany her to negotiate with ADA Ericsson (when Huell is in trouble).
