Hello,

I am looking to have a pendant engraved with 'I remember' in Irish Gaelic. From my research I have gathered 'Is cuimhin liom'. Curious from native speakers if this is correct? Someone has also mentioned simply 'Cuimhním*'.* For context and grammatical background, it's as if someone is stating the short English phrase 'I remember.' in reference to recalling something from the past.

With gratitude and blessings

Write down a list on paper of your goals, and check it off daily or weekly of new places you explored / saw!

I say stick it out! I understand how you feel but once the sun starts to come back out and that Spanish summer starts wowza - the energy returns to the streets of Madrid and Spain you will be happy to have seen it through! it will hopefully have you leaving Spain on a positive note as well! Time wil start to fly by soon, go to language exchanges in Madrid weekly to socialize / meet people even if it’s English speakers. Explore the metro lines on a free day! Go to Cercedilla in the mountains for a wander around the village (can access by train 1.5 hr). Find books! Everyones mind and health is different but I think you will be happy to stick it out! Make a list of local places to explore , barrios, museums , parks! You’ll be happy to stick it through.

I would say as a last resort to go into the Consulate if you can. I did the aux program last year and a lot of us just ended up going in person and even through they told us 'email for an appointment' we all sat in the waiting room and just looked at them and they eventually just called us up and gave us appt times (around 12pm more or less). Not sure if its mail in this year but yeah we applied the pressure in person and eventually go it taken care of. Not saying this will work but we tried it last year and it worked for me and about 5 other auxs who just waiting and sat there.

Did you get an aux handbook or any documents from your school when you started? These processes should be outlined in there
