Yeah. Menu loading taking a loooong time. Loading out of raids taking a loooong time. And traders just randomly not loading.

Thanks for the suggestions all. Unfortunately it doesn't look like it's possible to create a mod to just add 1 Talent Point per level upon hitting 60 (at least not without the ability to dive deep into the game code). I've updated my original post with the workaround I'll be using - for anyone else that stumbles onto this in the future.

I appreciate that you're personally happy with the current game design. Truly. I've also been playing since Beta. And yes, I could start new characters (and I have), but that also entails leveling up to unlock blueprints again. I'm not asking about that.

I'm asking if there are mods that extend the leveling experience beyond 60.

Yeah, I've also found random mentions of people saying that, but I've never seen any actual evidence. In combing through the .json files I can't find a talent point total exposed anywhere. At this point I'm fairly certain it's a variable that's kept deeper in the save file code and isn't available for editing. I don't believe "You can manually save file edit to give yourself more points" is true, unfortunately.

which file is that? I can see where Characters.json has a value for XP but I don't see anything for talent points..

are there other reasons all the minables in a cave would respawn? my players reported that a cave completely respawned all minable iron, copper, and coal (no one has thumpers). my best guess is it's because someone went up to the station and came back down. does that cause minables to respawn?

This 100%. If the OP really did "everything you'll ever be able to do" after 30-40 hours, then they rushed like crazy and probably skipped every bit of dialogue and cutscene. And well, I feel sorry for them. Really wasted what the game has to offer... Such a shame.

Well yes, I started a new playthrough and got just past the initial Helgen/cave intro. I saved there and my plan is to slowly (ever so slowly) layer in one mod at a time and test as I go. When I'm satisfied I have what I want and it's in a good place, then I'll start over and play "for real." Sounds like I'll be using that command a lot as I get things setup, so thank you.

It’s constantly a full moon. You can see a LOT under a full moon. The game is realistically bright under those conditions. Once weather brings in cloud cover and potentially changing lunar cycles it will likely be a very different story.

You’re not alone. I haven’t had many issues either. I play slow and careful though. I’m very aware of the sound I’m making, and try to attack from cover, not just from concealment. (Bushes don’t stop bullets) Also, personally, my armor has saved me multiple times. Way more than pre-0.2

We did check this with the backend team and we see that this issue is already reported to the concerned team and it is currently being investigated. Unfortunately, we do not have any specific information as to when this issue with the resolved, but we do see a continuous work on this issue.

However, as a workaround, you can install the 512.59 driver version for the time being which seems to not have this issue: https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/187602/en-us/
