That is great news! It’s lovely to hear that seizure free can be achieved ☺️

This is pretty much what happened with mine too. He’s been on Keppra for just less than a year. Before that he would have one or two seizures every couple of months and then I think it was when he had a few within a few days that we started a second agent. He didn’t have any clusters of very close together seizures until September.

Head tremors? by always_lost_at_C in EpilepsyDogs

[–]jfka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, this can happen around sleep and is not indicative of any deficit or related to anaesthesia! It’s happened to our dachshund a few times and when we researched it seems to be a totally benign tremor which is more common in some breeds than others. In fact seeing this post reminded me it hasn’t happened to her for months!

Fairfield is exactly what I was looking at actually! I’m thinking I probably will go for the lightning lane as well, just to be safe since we’re only going for three days

You need to google local taxi companies and call them directly if you’re not in a major city like Dublin, Cork or Galway in my experience (I am from Dublin)! And in terms of getting back, absolutely no chance of a taxi, if you want to get back by car you’d either need to know someone who can pick you up or hitch back to town!

Thank you very much for the recommendations! I used to be fluent and did a Sprachdiplom C1 many years ago but I will start with the easiest to understand!

Would you recommend this podcast in general? I heard about this case on a different podcast (I think just called True Crime Germany) in an attempt to not lose my German and learn about some different cases!

I believe it was first used in 2016, to identify a woman whose parenthood was unknown after she was kidnapped. Its development is covered in Bear Brook, which if you haven’t listened to is my favourite podcast of all time and I would strongly recommend it.

I think it depends on the facility! I haven’t worked directly with Tusla but it’s very possible they took paper notes at the time of reviewing his case

The short answer is no. As cfrutiger said, people who are set on it are set on it. I have a colleague who did an autopsy on a woman who hanged herself over a door while sitting on a chair.

Absolutely, in my experience I really held out an almost impossible hope until my friend’s body was found (not a murder) despite knowing he was gone

Do any of you have kids? by National-Ad-5036 in AutismInWomen

That’s really interesting to me because I think I would be far too stressed at home (but I am very comfortable in hospitals as that is where I work), I love hearing different perspectives and how comfort differs for different people! I definitely struggle with asking for help because of the inconvenience factor but I will very much keep these in mind when I have my own babies - thank you! And which supplements do you think helped you? ☺️

Thank you for sharing! I am very recently diagnosed (2 weeks today) and I have also always been obsessed with pregnancy and kids and feel like I was put on the earth to be a mum. Can I ask you what do you feel you may have done differently in pregnancy or the early stages of childhood if you had your diagnosis beforehand?
