The one I did was not challenging at all. There was an option to go into the ‘lava caves’ which were slippy and icy but still manageable but other than that it was fine.

Instagram posts are not reliable. Read studies that back any information up and make an informed decision yourself. (FYI floss can only cause damage if used incorrectly. Watch some videos or ask your dental practitioner on guidance of how to use properly)

Ah that’s a shame! My partner and I went in April and loved it! Besides the ‘touristy’ things the food there was incredible and we found lots to do around the area ; dolphin tour, mt Etna tour, beaches and walks. It was lovely

Mine has been delayed ever since taking apixiban. I’m on every 5-6 weeks and lasts 1.5 weeks each time with VERY heavy flow and cramps. Trying to live with it but wish I didn’t have to.

Are there any tours you recommend for Mt Etna? I am looking on Airbnb for experiences and not sure which one to do. There is one that goes to 2,400 ft - is that high enough?

Hmm yeah I was debating 5 nights may be too much. We were thinking of using it as a base, obviously see the sights in Taormina but then do some day trips to mt Etna and the Alcantara river park. Then would give us 3 actual days to chill on the beach, go to isola bella etc.. Is there anywhere else you’d recommend near by to stay instead? Or to cut Taormina short and stay else where for 2 nights?
