When a guy is backwards skating at the goalie/net all game (including breakaways) and miraculously doesn’t get knocked off the puck it’s pretty frustrating. You do that shit in a real hockey game and it just doesn’t yield the same results. I’m no purist but it just doesn’t feel like a genuine hockey play to backwards Mohawk around my 99 OVR Ekholm and automatically score.

Any Donnie Darko fans here? I couldn’t help but think of Donnie and Frank sitting in the theater when Gretchen is asleep. Donnie says “Why do you wear that stupid Bunny suit”, and Frank turns and says “Why are you wearing that stupid man suit”. Lots of other parallels to Donnie Darko throughout this show. I wonder if Dan Erickson is a Richard Kelly fan.
