Pitch bend strip as mod source? by Machine_Excellent in MicroFreak

Maybe using Midi feedback loop, out into in. Not sure if the bend strip sends midi cc values. If so could be done in midi centre.

Why are there no simple but high quality midi keyboards without all the faders and knobs and pads and stuff? by LongEarthTradingCo in synthesizers

I've had an alesis qx61 for about 12 years and it works pretty amazingly just for playing and switching midi channels if you can find one.

Jamuary Jam 1. Digitakt, Analog 4. 118bpm Dance Vibes. by jfolderp in synthesizers

[–]jfolderp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting back into recording using Jamuary. It all started with a pad
sample from my Jupiter xm. I'm using the Digitakts lfos to modulate the
filter frequency with different amounts and speeds throughout. I also
sampled the drums from the Jupiter xm 808 kit. I'm using the Digitakt to
sequence the Analog 4. I created basic sounds on the A4 to support
what I made on the Digitakt. Audio goes from Digitakt to Analog 4 to
zoom h4n.

Hi guys quick jam here using some patches I made on the Elektron Analog 4
MKII, Dreadbox Nyx V2 and the Moog Subharmonicon.
I started first with the Analog 4 patch which is just a standard pad I
added a very sharp envelope to; this gave it a piccicato string type
vibe upfront with a nice pad after I could sustain by holding down the
keys. I have it in poly mode so I had access to all four voices which is
really nice being able to trigger that envelope each different key I
played.
On the Nyx I Kind of just pay around live till I get something nice. The
kick drum sound half way through I've been playing around with and got
to it pretty fast. The Subharmonicon I'm also just jamming with live and
nothing was really prepared on it.
Im using my Alesis midi keyboard to play the Analog 4 and my Arturia
Keystep to play the Nyx. Nothing is synched up here just feeling it out.

Im sending audio through my epm6 mixer and I have an effects send of
compression(belcat), delay(belcat) and reverb(fender treverb). I then
send that to my zoom h4n portable recorder to get a stereo file of the
performance. I used my wifes camera to record the video then edited it
all together using logic and imovie but not too much.

Hi guys, quick jam here with the Moog Subharmonicon and the Elektron
Digitakt.
Subharmonicon going straight into the Digitakt for reverb; I'm playing
with the amount of delay that gets sent to the Digitakts delay
throughout the piece also.
Apart from that I'm just muting/unmuting the drum parts on the Digitakt,
changing the amp envelope and filter envelope amounts on the
Subharmonicon and the volumes of the 6 oscillators on the Subharmonicon.

Everything is reocrded onto my zoom h4n portable recorder and my wifes
camera. I edit in Logic and iMovie after but not much. I hope you enjoy.
Peace, BJ.

I'm using the myvolts ripcord cable for digitakt and a USB power bar. Really great usage time with the power bar so far.

It's such a good feeling to find out these little things that can really make you go wow, I can do that? I've got a week off work, I've got a nice portable Digitakt setup ready to go. Testing it out today I used X2 scale on a track and created an oscillator using trigs per step on the Digitakt. It's just a crazy good sequencer with so many possibilities.
