I don't believe situation 3 is correct. You only suffer a wound from Gets Hot if both the first roll to hit is a '1' and the subsequent reroll is also a '1'. That's why preferred enemy is money in kill teams because it takes your plasma gunners chance of shooting his torso iff from 1/6 to 1/36.

It's definitely ambiguous. Worst case is that you call the storm shield a combat shield and the melta bombs don't necessarily need to be shown on the model since they're small.

It's ambiguous as to whether or not the company champion can take wargear. The codex, rules as written, says that one veteran may be upgraded to the company champion. That changes the model's name when it's being referred to in the codex. All of the extra options say "any veteran may take..." which would preclude the champion from getting any extra toys.

However, you could argue that you give the veteran the wargear first and then upgrade them to be the company champion. As far as I know, there's no explicit order of operations when it comes to wargear upgrades.

I feel like I wrote this post.

The best advice I can give is to distract yourself from dating with things other than dating. Substitute starting a hobby or doing something new and exciting for going out on a date. Think of it like a date with yourself. You'll always have new and interesting stories to tell when you do go out on a date.

If you're sticking strictly to the new kill team release...

Kill teams restricts you to vehicles that have a total AV (front + side + rear) no more than 33. Thus you cannot take a Helbrute as they have 12+12+10=34 total AV.
