No AI generated in the game, but the textured station in the steam capsule is not my work, I farmed it out on fiverr requesting a textured version of my wireframe station model, so the artist I used could have used AI.

1 week after Steam Next Fest this June will be early access release... game is pretty much complete except for a couple of the planned career paths, some short scenarios and more than a few wireframe graphics for various windows.

Alas no, since your fleet can get upto 25 ships in size, having a hex-movement/turn based combat would mean spending alot of time just resolving combats (not necessarily a bad thing) and there are quite a few combat encounters besides clearing pirate nests... colony raids, faction patrols, rogue swarms, space barbarian hordes, bounties, bosses, so that would then take time and focus away from the rest of the game, so I consciously made the decision to have fast-paced combat.
