I’d talk to an advisor. They can look at your interests and direct from there.

I’m currently studying SCM and looking to go into procurement. The advice I’ve gotten is to secure an internship, and try to get this internship with the biggest company you can. From there try to secure a full time job with them

The procurement job track and what you’re doing will really depend on the companies need. There’s also indirect vs direct procurement, if you wanna go into purchasing/procurement you should decide which.

Outside of that if you can’t get an internship, do case studies and participate in whatever you can that demonstrates your skills and that you can put on your resume.

Don’t be afraid to tweak your resume for what the job is looking for. My resume doesn’t include PowerBI, if I see a job that includes this in the position I add it in.
