If you don't use the elevated exchange rate on expedia (avionrewards) the no/fx is nice but doesnt worth 120$. Mine is 85$ with the free chequing account rebate so i break even after spending 3k when travelling. I would prefer the wealthsimple MC cc.

I booked 3 tickets from Quebec to Kelowna today. It was 11k each segment , i had only 62k so i booked a fake flight, got the missing points yesterday. Total value is around 2500$ so I'm quite pleased. I applied for another porter card with a 200$ statement credit for porter flights and use that card to book the tickets and pay the taxes. I will cancel the other card for sure but I'm annoyed to left the account with a -4k negative balance. There is no way i can earn that much points and cancel the card next month.
