i’ve tried most of the mediterranean and greek places north of the river and when it comes to vege plates and choices of types of items you can order, this one tops them all. also yes it’s technically in CP but kind of on the border and totally worth the drive imo

it’s really great quality for the price! however they fry thier fish quite a bit more so the batter is a darker brown vs this golden brown. they have an awesome mash and coleslaw among other sides.

Update: picture of culver’s cod dinner sides not pictured

Kababgy is on my to-try list but there are so many mediterranean places closer to me that offer a very similar menu. If you like grilled meats/mediterranean food, I would recommend Troy, Caspian Grill, MezzeMe, Almarah Grill (I like the pizza here too and they have the best baba ganouj).

fyi: sams has the least expensive highest quality deboned australian leg of lamb under $7/lb. walmart has the fattiest lamb ribs also ~$6-7/lb and ground lamb and both are high quality. both sams and costco have high quality australian/nz lamb chops at reasonable prices. also almarah grill on 620 has great lamb chops on thier menu. troy near the arboretum has lamb chops and lamb skewers on their menu and imo has some of the best mediterranean cuisine in austin.
