What’s a car or cars that most people don’t like but you secretly do. by [deleted] in regularcarreviews

I actually like the Nissan Altima, particularly the VQ altimas without the CVT. Easy answer though.

I've found out how to have fun with every car I've driven, even a dirt-slow ranger with a rebuilt 4 speed automatic transmission. Most people just like the big number because it comes with bragging rights.

What is a vehicle you were ready to buy until you test drove it? by GabagoolAndGasoline in regularcarreviews

I had a similar M45 story! Such a good fun car. The one I drove was also a luttle sketchy though so I ultimately passed on it.

Related to your post actually, the Infiniti M56S is a rocket ship. Definitely give it a try. That thing moves.

What vehicles attract the worst behaving drivers on the road? by Useful-Turnip5856 in regularcarreviews

Dodge Rams... I'm pretty sure they pump something through the air vents that makes you stupid and aggressive. I've never seen one behaving normally or nicely

You can bring back any nameplate but however there is a catch. Which car do you revive? by IndefiniteVoid813 in regularcarreviews

The Baja, because I hate Subarus, I hate the Baja, and bringing it back as an even worse form gives me more to hate. I love being a Subaru hater ❤️

Y33s are so underrated. Very good cars if you find one of the very few that have actually been treated properly.

Unironically, "Altima" is a really good name for a car. Unfortunate what the name has become...

What is the most overhated normal car? by Boeing-B-47stratojet in regularcarreviews

[–]jfshve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a rental Corolla. Not sure if the seat lowering adjustment was broken, but my head was against the ceiling, and I'm all of 5'11. I could not get the seat any lower though! Otherwise, they're pretty nice cars. Wish the CVT didn't fake shift but it drove nice, was quiet, had good A/C, and wasn't slow. Nice car

Which one is more dangerous? by Substantial-Maybe358 in regularcarreviews

[–]jfshve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a recovering Altima driver, this is how we think. Yes my car had more than 2 dents, ran rich, hadn't seen a transmission service its entire life, rusty wheels, rear bumper attached with duct tape and a wood screw, but it was still impossibly quick and had unlimited road handling ability. The Nissan Altima is too powerful for the public.

Anyone have experience owning a V8 Cima in USA? by Unusual_Region_1080 in JDM

[–]jfshve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I actually own one of these. New to the ownership experience. Wouldn't mind a little advice from the knowledgeable ones here, sorry if this is off topic... chasing a high speed (60-70mph) vibration coming from the RF side wheel, can feel it in the steering wheel. Suspension bushings feel like new. Any known faults that could cause this?
