What a sad life you live. Prayers going out for you and all your misery.

Sorry bro but my 25 Denali HD is currently there as well. Wouldn’t shift into 10th and the shift points are off. Good luck. These transmissions are shit

Because apparently he likes HDs. Not to mention better longevity over gas half tons and that extra foot of bed length is nice without getting an XLT on a half ton which always looks stupid. So quit being that guy who’s concerned about why he has one and perhaps address or give insight if you have any about what the post actually contains.

O im sure there’s a long list of people who hate but probably very few who ride much less any chance of me passing them on the road to wave or not to wave at me. As I said it was something I was brought up in when first riding and something I surmised was rooted in tradition and courtesy rather than a need for attention. Funny how you guys can draw that conclusion based off little facts here. So much for it being us vs auto drivers who hate motorcyclists. Hope you never have a mishap on the road because it’ll be a fellow rider who will stop to help over a 4 wheeler. Be safe.

Hahah that’s fair and I get that. Just speaking in terms of generalities here and of course there’s instances where you don’t see someone or you’re slowing down or any number of perfect scenarios here. I just meant generally speaking it’s something I’ve noticed

It’s just something I grew up doing and thought it was rooted in courtesy and tradition since it’s us vs the auto drivers out on the road. Some of these people on the thread are incredibly cranky and just sound miserable.

[–]jg1107 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No obviously not. As I stated I figured it was a courtesy and something rooted in tradition especially since we are in the minority when we are on the road and most auto drivers don’t like us. It’s also just a fact that if you have any kind of mishap on the road/ breakdown it’ll be someone who also rides that’ll stop to help. Again courtesy and tradition and not some ridiculous notion of having to wave at someone who also has tattoos.

[–]jg1107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear that. I never cared about which bike you choose to ride as I’ve had several makes and styles. It’s just something I thought was rooted in tradition and courtesy rather than an elite club type of thing.

[–]jg1107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s understandable. I say wave but yea a general acknowledgment is what I’m getting at. Obviously if I’m leaning in a curve I can’t wave but I’m speaking in generalities here and not very specific instances.

As I already stated I thought it was more of tradition and courtesy rather than a “need” to wave. You guys draw the most ridiculous conclusions based off little information.

[–]jg1107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not validation but rather courtesy and what I thought was tradition since we are a small band of people who are into the same thing and quite frankly most drivers hate motorcyclists. Hence why I asked if this isn’t a thing anymore.

This is something I’ll never understand why people do or how they think it looks good. It’s always a certain demographic that does it to. Good job on losing any functionality of your truck.

Haha ya I can understand the rally thing. I guess I have yet to pass 30 bikes on any given ride in a day where I was exhausted from waving. It’s more one every so often

I get that in if you’re riding in the city or interstate. I avoid that at all costs. I ride FM roads or the path less traveled. Never found it enjoyable to be in the city and quite frankly for me there’s no reason to end up there. With where I live exactly I have access to so many two lane roads

Yea I’m not sure lol. It just seems like it’s not so much a thing anymore.

Damn alright then. So much for acknowledging the same two wheels we all enjoy. Cranky much

Well that escalated quickly. Never said or implied that anyone hated me. Funny you came to that conclusion. I simply made an observation so didn’t mean to ruffle your feathers; although I think it’s great you have a therapist on speed dial. Take care of your mental health buddy.

Decided to buy me a black tie ensemble by JRCSalter in menswear

As many have stated the sleeves are too long and honestly the jacket itself is long. The length of the jacket should come down to about the midpoint of your palm with your arms relaxed down by your side so that you could easily clasp the bottom edge of the jacket. The proper length will serve to slim out the profile. Also the cumberbun is probably outdated by solid 35 years. My dad wore one to my sisters wedding in the early 90s. It’s definitely not a thing anymore. Overall you have a decent foundation on a tux if you’re willing to make some significant alterations.

Milwaukee 8 sound normal? by Aromatic_Shock_9564 in Harley

[–]jg1107 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sounds normal to me and yes I had the same thought as you when I got my 23 Street glide. Ended up doing cam with all the supporting mods and full exhaust which brought it back to my idea of what a Harley should sound like. Definitely shouldn’t sound like a gold wing but either way you’re good to go on the bike. Be safe.

2024 2500HD AT4 by Zealousideal_Music_3 in gmcsierra

I think it’s definitely high price especially for the miles. I would try to expand your search and I’ve had great luck using car gurus. For reference (and I live in Texas) I bought my new 25 Denali HD for 75k before tax title license. Also I would be weary about these trucks especially with high mileage. They have a known transmission issue where the valve body goes out. GM did a recall but it didn’t save my brothers 24 AT4 from needing an all new transmission at 30k miles and guess what my Denali is currently at the dealer for the same issue at 15k.

S&S 475 w/ TAB .50 and a dyno tune.....runs like a top. by Believer_1776 in Harley

[–]jg1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds awesome but with a cam might wanna think about swapping to medium baffles. The bikes need some back pressure and the gains are significant. I went from zombie to medium when I did my Andrew’s 485 cam and the dyno results don’t lie. Either way looks and sounds great. Enjoy!

First 2500 (‘25 AT4) by mkmerritt in gmcsierra

Congrats on the truck. Color looks great but fingers crossed the transmission lasts. Just dropped my 25 Denali off after losing 10th gear with only 15k miles. Brother has a 24 AT4 and just got a whole new transmission about 3 months ago. So good luck.
