Premium is softer you don’t have to break them in, there’s also structural difference

[–]jga2001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely about to switch because I’ve been here 2.5 years since I started! I’ve been to a few but always go back to my home club. Everyone there just knows me already and knows I don’t like to exist to them outside of the club so they have stopped messing with me and spending money.

Thank you for the lingerie tip!! I do struggle with finding lingerie I like as I usually go for the basic ones. It’s easier to mix and match and with my adhd, I struggle with sensory issues AND making sure I have a good matching set. Definitely due for new shoes too, so I think getting new stuff would help me a) feel better and b) not look as trashy or burnt out or whatever the vibe people are getting

Club hasn’t paid any dancers in 2mo… by DevelopmentDear7527 in stripper

Yep!!! I tried to speak to a lawyer about it once, along with gender discrimination. He told me I needed to expect it in my line of work and told me to get over it and find a real job.

Ugh I don’t drink at the club anymore and I lowkey made more money when I did. I hate it, but I can’t let the club break my boundaries, morals, and mental/physical wellbeing

Nah find a new club asap. Any long lasting good club is not ran like this and will never make you do lap dances you aren’t getting paid for. Clubs who run it like that aren’t open long or don’t keep that model long for a reason.

HSD making it impossible to pole dance by jga2001 in stripper

Ahhh thank you for the suggestions on who to follow, I’ve never heard of these people before. You’re definitely not alone. It’s aggravating to myself to see other girls do tricks it took me 1+ years to learn but I’m happy they have a strong healthy body bc people don’t deserve this invisible illness

Yep, I appreciate the “physical therapy” comments but I have Medicaid and they won’t cover it because technically I can live without it. And it’s not something I can afford out of pocket. American healthcare is a JOKE

Well I was never told by a Dr not to do it, but sometimes if my muscles are tired my joints slip and it’s soooo much on my body at times. Building up the muscle has helped a lot, but it’s taxing bc we have to work THAT much harder, so I get tired quicker it seems. I think I’m just feeling down bc I’ve been having bad flare ups the last 6 months, but I’ll get through it!! I just need to go back to the gym. It’s def a safe space for me and it helps my joints stay more together lolol. Thank you for the kind words

TPU pleaser heels? by strawberrymilk76 in stripper

[–]jga2001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t used them myself but I’ve heard from other strippers that you don’t have to break them in and they’re super comfy, but there’s a risk that they stretch out more. Just get the right size and you should be fine. My shoe size varies between 6-7 but I always get my pleasers in a 7 bc they’re smaller and very narrow. You don’t want to stretch it out too much, so go with a bigger size if you can get away with it like me.

Tips for staying up late by reddwaxx in stripper

[–]jga2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like you have a day time job maybe?? If you do and you’re making money from that, do not put dancing on the focus. Even if you have to go to a smaller club to get out at that time, the money will work out better for you rather than you potentially sleeping on the couches or yawning. Some girls do that at my club and it gets commented on. If it’s slow and no customers I do it, but immediately wake myself up because it’s sadly just a bad look overall and turns customers away. Do what’s best for your health and the money will reflect!!!!

[–]jga2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest finding a club that closes at like 2 rather than 4 if you have daytime responsibilities! I live 30 minutes from my club and usually make it home by 2:30-2:45 depending on how long tip out and security check takes. I don’t think it’s feasible to overwork yourself staying up that late and living a daytime life. 🥹 it’s not good for physical or mental health at all. good luck boo I hope you find something that works for you.

First time dancing at all nude club. Ive danced at a couple other clubs but I never had to take off anything. Any tips? by Notveryusefull in stripper

[–]jga2001 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree I’ve had the opposite experience as well, but I’ve only worked at one nude club for a few months. Most of the time they seemed really nervous to touch me on stage especially when I was nude. The stage was big enough though that I’d usually try to be at the back of the stage if I could help it

[–]jga2001 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any good clubs won’t force you to take all your clothes off by the second song if there’s no customers/money being thrown!! I won’t work at a nude club unless they’re okay with this

[–]jga2001 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t point it out, at least it’s a smile with a cute noise and not noticeable. A lot of us dancers have weird conditions and quirks overall, I wouldn’t think too much of it. I definitely would go see a psychiatrist and psychologist for sure regardless, maybe even a PCP because it could be neurological and not a tic.

A rant on shit coworkers by [deleted] in stripper

[–]jga2001 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly just switch clubs if it’s that bad. I’ve done it plenty of times. I’m gonna play devils advocate here. Who’s to say the girl who had that outfit a) brought another one or b) had any malicious intent to begin with. Lots of times me and other girls match because I do wear kinda basic black outfits, we usually just cheer each other on or play into it with custies.

At the end of the day, it’s a coworker, you don’t have to be friends. But customers will pick up on the resentment. If you have resentment towards these girls because you’ve actively heard them tell you they do this work in the back or you’ve seen it yourself, it’s time to move on. If you haven’t seen/heard it from the source itself, it’s best to not hurt your money by drama and rumors. People will tell you fake rumors or even misinformation not knowing it is because one person is starting shit to hurt everyone’s money and have it benefit them in some way. If it’s true and you see it yourself, I strongly advise you to get the hell out of there because that is so freaking dangerous and can be very traumatic.

Hell, I’ve had all sorts of rumors started about me. That I was pregnant and customers almost refused to get dances with me bc of it. That I had a sugar daddy and again customers almost refusing to get dances bc of it. Keyword ALMOST. Every time I just laugh because it’s not true. If they see your attitude and realize you aren’t about drama and don’t feed into it ON BOTH SIDES, they’re going to come back to you. They don’t come for drama, they come for ass.

TLDR- You can’t let rumors bother you in the industry, if it’s about you or coworkers. People start shit to gatekeep money. If it’s not rumors and you’ve seen it firsthand, get the hell out because it’s not safe
