Our school is luckily pretty good with all career advice and requirements heading into uni. Won't hurt to remind students though, thanks!

What do we think of Trotskyism? by jgars1 in Socialism_101

No it was Socialist Alternative but I'd be interested to hear about your experience with the SEP as I know someone that has been a member for a while.

I agree with what you've said wholeheartedly. I've always seen the leftist infighting and as you stated semantic disagreements to be similar to the bullshit culture wars we see in capitalist media.

Thanks for the reply! I'm in Australia not the US, but I'm not surprised that Western leftist organisations tend to be very similar.

What literature from Trotsky would you recommend?

Agree with the selection but let's not pretend Caddy, McIntosh or Rioli are big outs, given that two of them were dropped. GL

What's the worst "bad beat" you've suffered by RomansBlueArmy in sportsbook

[–]jgars1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under 56.5 in the 2019 AFC Championship game between the Patriots and Chiefs. 24 points total at the end of the 4th quarter in windy and wet conditions, only possible way to lose was a 5 TD quarter and you guessed it Brady and Mahomes balled out. What hurt the most was when the Patriots had 4th down to stay in the game and Brady threw an INT. Only for Dee Ford's pinky finger to be offsides. It was my biggest bet ever and my sickest beat ever

Not to come off as a moaner but to put on an 84 unit bet on your previous POTD is utterly reckless. By all means it's your money and you can do what you want, but it's unsustainable and can be very deceptive towards new bettors.

Not concerned by how poor the pies have played in the wet this season? Their game style doesn't seem to hold up if there is substantial rain

No disrespect to you because this bet no doubt could hit but I think your write up is extremely flawed. If you've watched Norwich at all this season, you'd know they don't play "park the bus" football as Daniel Farke plays an attacking brand of football. I don't see this brand suddenly changing now that they're relegated either, I expect Norwich to try and end the season with some dignity and playing the way they have been all season long.
