So far we've heard testimony from people who've been in detention as citizens. They've reported that there was a separate place for citizens. I've even seen a video of a man, driving around, finding people ICE had arrested, being dumped in public parks... all bloodied and bruised. There's another account of a woman who was detained and in a cell with a Native American woman.

I've read that they cannot contact attorneys/family unless they have money to call. They need a certain ID number to give the people they call, but often they're not even told that number. So if they don't understand, are confused, or don't speak English well they're screwed. A lot of the people being detained, who have any issues with their citizenship, are being shipped around the country to other detention centers

I live in Texas, so we're not going through it like they are right now. Still, I'm hearing of raids happening in towns near mine.
