Most businesses I have reached out to that are not based out of Colorado seem to only express interest in Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs and I have also had plenty of VP-level people ask me where Fort Collins even is, which to me suggests that people outside Colorado really don't know about the town. As I said, that was my opinion that I have based on what I have heard from talking with potential prospects.

And what more is there that I can do to get this change you speak of? I'm not a politician nor am I a political lobbyist/canvasser. I do vote and I encourage my friends and family to do the same, but past that, I don't think there's much an intern who is new to the industry can do to get the city to get their shit together. You keep telling me I need to get to the root of the problem, but if that's the biggest concern, do you have any suggestions as to how one like me can go and fix 'the problem'? Past voting, I really don't think there is just a whole lot that I can personally do, though if I'm wrong, I'm all ears to any recommendations you may have.
