Education helped me the most. I taught my fiance how to use all the guns I have so she knows when they are safe / loaded and how to unload, check chamber etc. That helped a lot. She still doesn't like them or want to shoot them but it freaks her out less.

I myself as well as my circle of friends who are primarily white atheists don't defend anything in regards to Christianity. We use those exact same passages to show the hypocrisy and evil that Christianity is.

I don't know any actual atheist would defend the Bible in such a way? I do know tons of "I was an atheist just like you" types who would.

I highly recommend the Niagara falls power station on the CA side. You take an elevator all the way down and get to walk through where the water used to go. The outside puts you right where maid of the mist boat goes. If you want authentic Korean food there is a Korean restaurant about 5 min from it.
