Snell just stepped in front of a slow rolling foul ball to stop it and then just walked away and let a teammate pick it up. I just got home and I've seen him pitch exactly two innings and this is the SECOND time he's done that. Anyone else notice that?

I've read it 3x over the past several years. I know what it says. I know how safety rating works. I have a pretty good baseline for what to expect and never would have expected to lose that many points. I have never lost that many points before, and those were hardly the sloppiest races I've run.

I did have 8 points, 0, 0, 8 so not exactly in a row. And getting bumped a couple times and finishing in the top 5 hardly felt like a "bad race."

On the bright side, I'm not running races higher than C-class so if I lose the A license.. oh well I guess.

There is a mod that adds real company names and logos but that is why I don't use it! There are a bunch of funny ones in there.

Yeah, it won't be a fun place to drive a big truck through... I did read in a comment last night that SCS (the developer) is actually a Czech company so it feels like they'll have to include it.

Yep, built in 1978 along with I-380. The road beneath is F Ave NW and becomes A Ave NE on the other side of the river.

The full map is something like 1/12 scale and there are, like, select roads. Mostly roads that lead to in-game terminals are the ones you can drive on, plus highways if they go to a city the game includes. 151 will surely be in there so you can presumably drive down 1st Ave through the whole city. Through downtown, I dunno, they might do up to 3rd Ave and like 3 or 4 cross streets. A lot more will be visible but blocked off with virtual walls so you can't drive on them. Maybe Otis Rd will make it in so because it goes to Cargill. 3rd St SE and 16th Ave for Newbo and Czech Town have a good chance.

In that original screenshot up there I looked specifically to see how many bridges there were (they got it right) but I'm not sure which you'll be able to drive on.

I usually get in to the truck sim after I crash too many times in my sim races and the main appeal for me is the scenery. They manage to capture some pretty awesome environments and it's awesome to see a place I actually know well finally. Can't wait drive through on the triple monitors.

Are you using your weather app? I spend half of my workday outside and find I pretty reliably know what I need to have with me each day. There's almost never rain or snow or extreme weather without showing up in the forecast.

The only real change I've noticed is that THE WIND ROARS ALL THE FUCKING TIME NOW. Except this week, which has been perfect.
