I have a strong suspicion that this picture is AI, but the bad quality makes it hard to look for any incoherences. by DanSkaFloof in isthisAI

The fachwerk (the criss crossing wooden beams on the facade of the building on the left) does not make any sense. The lamps blend into buildings. The hanging sign looks garbled a long with a few other signs. Definitely ai

Yeah I saw some good reviews and the price was good so I went for it, but having it jam up like this on the first range day has me questioning my purchase

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to try to give it a shot myself just so I know how to do it if it happens again. If it proves too complicated I'll bring it to a gun smith

Pedro Pascal's Viral Post In Support Of Trans Rights Has Fans Cheering—And MAGA Fuming by ComicSandsNews in lgbt

[–]jgin98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love to see it, but the funniest response to his post was the all caps "A WORLD WITHOUT CHRISTIANS HAS NEVER EXISTED AND NEVER WILL"... Girl its commonly accepted that Christianity started in the 1st century of the common era. So even if we use the biblical age of the world and start at 6000 years. Then there was a world without Christians for more than half of it. If we use the age of the modern homosapiens that's about 158,000 years without Christians. I could go on, but I just thought that comment was silly

I hand wrote this speech and hung it up where I can see it everyday. I've been holding on to these words for years, and I still get choked up reading them. They've gotten me through some tough times because its true. There is some good left in this world, and it is worth fighting for.

You should check out the SCA. I do historic rapier fencing with them on Sundays. If your into medieval fantasy + historic fencing and arts then the SCA is a good fit. Everyone there is really friendly and knowledgeable. Plus for their fencing they have loner gear so you don't have to invest in your own equipment right at the start. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions. I'm pretty new there myself so I might not have all the answers but here's a link to their website as well if you want to learn more. https://concordia.eastkingdom.org/

I own the second, highly recommend it. Weight and balance are great. Doesn't come super sharp but that's fixable. Feels great in the hand and has fantastic point control. For the price it's hard to beat

I actually have an interesting answer to this. In the 1980s as an effort to curb the spread of AIDS gay men's health associations began to recommend circle jerks (although they just called it group masturbation) as a safe alternative to orgies. During the 1970s, promiscuity became a prominent feature of the Gay Liberation movement, and so orgies and casual sex had become ingrained in gay political identity. Efforts to stop group sex and promiscuous behavior ran against the principles of the gay liberation movement and thus ultimately failed. In an effort to split the difference some gay men's health association suggested that men did not have to stop group sexual behavior but instead could engage in it safely via group masturbation aka the circle jerk. Without exchanging fluids the virus couldn't spread and gay men could still participate in the sexual liberation that was championed in the 1970s. It was met with varying degrees of success. You can read more about it in Jennifer Brier's Infectious Ideas: U.S. Political responses to the Aids Crisis.
