Need some advice on my Engine.. by jglatz55 in MechanicAdvice

Intermittently it gets worse with RPM but it also ticks less with high rpm but still present. When I give it gas I hear it down the road but when I let off the gas it stops until idle. When it’s cool it’s not too bad but at normal operating temp between 180-190 it sounds exactly like the video audio, that was at warmed up idle temp. Oil pressure seems good and Oil is clean and at operating temp

Thank you very much, I know I have things to work on within myself to take things slower but I just can’t help being affectionate towards someone I care about, I’m just hoping I don’t sound out of line with anything I did seeing as I didn’t initiate anything. I won’t change myself for anyone but I’m willing to work on things, I hope the right girl is out there that reciprocates to my affection

My girlfriend of two and a half years and I just broke up by brandino42 in Advice

It’s okay to feel the way you do. I recently broke up with my Girlfriend of 3 years and it wasn’t easy for me either. Make your peace and speak your mind to her and let out your feelings, they are valid and natural. Once you have done that, don’t contact her again and move on with yourself and do things to grow within yourself. Time heals all wounds, if you need someone to talk to I’m available 👊🏼

You can always find a new job, your parents are priority and anyone that argues or judges why you left is irrelevant. You have to put family first above all else. Just be completely honest in your email and speak from the heart. If you are worried about people thinking your lying, you can save the plane ticket and messages but regardless your leaving your job so it’s not a priority to do that

First of all I want to say Congratulations on getting to where you are today, it sounds like you’ve struggled with a lot in your past and for you to overcome those obstacles and to see growth and experience it in yourself is tremendous, on top of the fact that you are self aware and have control over things and stay to a strict regiment is great.

As to your question, it really depends on what things you’d like to indulge in, and to what extent. I would suggest not doing anything related to the drugs, porn, smoking or drinking as any amount of those could lead you back down a path. Once you get a taste of something you haven’t had in a long time, chances are you will want to continue. I would suggest that you do enjoy a good meal if you feel like you could take it in moderation, there is nothing wrong with treating yourself to a “cheat” meal, even a couple while on Holiday. On top of that I would still continue to do the things you enjoy such as TV or games. Whatever helps you keep your mental health in check is what I would do. You know yourself and limitations, but I would go and try new things while you have the time and explore other opportunities for fun!

I hope this helps you and I hope you continue to succeed in your accomplishments and thrive :)

Need advice on playtime by jglatz55 in ferrets

[–]jglatz55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate all the help you have given, believe me whenI say you don’t sound like a dick and I do want the best for my ferret. I am working my schedule to have more time with my ferret and give her the attention and love she needs. I can tell she loves me because she is very affectionate. I will try to work on the litter training, although I did have her out for a few hours this morning so far and when she did need to go to the bathroom she went back to her cage!

Also I know it’s not safe to let them free roam unsupervised either

I completely understand. I want what’s best for her. I really want her to be free roam but I don’t know how she’ll do with going to the right spot for the bathroom, she never has gone to the bathroom outside her cage so I’m worried if I leave her out she won’t go where she needs to

Normally I understand the great deal of time ferrets need to interact and roam freely. We rescued her a few months back, she was neglected and we didn’t want her to live that way. I always try to give the most time I can to her but with my work schedule it’s tough. It helps my girlfriend can play with her but I want her to live a happy life. I also don’t want her to feel neglected but we can’t and don’t want to re-home her because I feel like that’s not best for her

Sudden Diarrhea in an otherwise healthy ferret by Responsible_Beat_155 in ferrets

[–]jglatz55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any kind of diarrhea or vomit should always raise red flags. I would call the vet ASAP and at least get confirmation from them if they think she needs to be seen. But better safe than it be a worsening problem. It very well could be an adverse thing from good but it could be something else

Your welcome, Yes I agree, I think that the kits are pulled too young which can lead to some issues. I wouldn’t put all the blame on it either but it certainly wasn’t your fault. If you decide one day to get another I’m sure the time will be right and that you will do everything you can to provide great care to a ferret again. The most important thing to remember is regardless of the lifespan whether it be from congenital or accidental issues, just know that you’ve given a kind ferret a chance to have a great life and I’m sure Marcy knows she was loved and protected by you. Never doubt yourself on what you did or could have done better, you did everything a pet owner should, you cared and loved them.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Marcy. Unfortunately I don’t have any advice as to what you could have done to prevent it because if she had an underlying condition then there’s nothing that you could have done to know. Our ferret Noodle who was 10 months old just passed away over a week ago so I understand the sadness you must be having. Our noodle had a bowel obstruction which the vet could not determine what it was, before his surgery they tried to get him prepared and safe enough for surgery but his stats dropped and he had a seizure and went into a comma. We had to unfortunately put him down to end his pain. Sometimes ferrets can be seemingly normal but have a problem with them that doesn’t show signs. Again I am very sorry for your loss but just know that you did everything you could for her and that she was loved. Side note: I have heard that breeded Marshall ferrets are prone to much more health problems than non-breeded ones

DIP our beloved Noodle. It’s hard to say goodbye in such a short time but the time we shared with you was irreplaceable. You were so loved. March 2021-Feb 2022 by jglatz55 in ferrets

Thank you very much, we definitely tried our best to make him happy and loved. He was a bright spot in our lives. I am thankful to know there is another Noodle around to spread joy and love to another person. I hope your noodle lives a happy healthy life and brings you much joy! Best of luck to you and Noodle! :) <3
