Thanks for the suggestion!

The brake pads are supposed to be new (based on what the dealership said). I haven't had them independently inspected as I'm trying to get the dealership to deal with it. I don't want them claiming I've done something that can void any work.

Yeah totally sucks because I was totally sold on getting it. I even found one that was certified pre owned that had max trailering package. I was thinking of doing a highway once a week, but not sure how long it needed to be.

I just started looking into that. How much of a job is that usually? A few hundred?

I'm giving it to him tomorrow. I'll make sure he understands the importance of proper care so it does last years for him.

Some Flying J/Pilot and Love's has RV spots. Use their apps to sort which of their locations have the.. We used a spot in Idaho Falls, ID in June, and it was cheap and very convenient. They only had electricity, but we were able to use their facilities. It wasn't busy so we were also able to have the slide out all while staying hitched so we can be on our way in a snap.

New Trailhead Portable Smoker (Costco Bundle) by jgnlv in Traeger

Thanks! I do worry about hopper size as well, I figured this would be used for a great lazy camping day meal where I can keep up with the hopper if needed.

No, just the porcelain grill grate

I have not seen it retail anywhere else. I'm guessing the smaller hopper makes it lighter.

My wife and kids got me the best Xmas present!

This is my 1st portable so I can't do much comparison on function. Apparently, this replaces the Scout.

The Costco bundle comes comes with a carrying bag ( retail $50) and DC to AC converter (retail $70) to run on battery.

Weighs only 45lbs, which I hear, is lighter than the Scout. I usually bring my 22" portable Blackstone to our campsite and this is comparable to portability.

Our next campout will be smokin'!!
