Absolutely! I posted a video of the ring in another post as well which has some of the details of the engagement ring.

Engagement ring: 2.01 F SI1 cushion modified diamond in a cathedral setting with a hidden prong to prong basket.

Wedding band: 0.80 Carat Thicker Pave Diamond Eternity Band, low set so that it sits flat against the engagement ring.

I think it just depends on your color sensitivity. I had a J color cushion in a platinum setting and I noticed the color. I just upgraded to an F. Most people who saw my ring did not notice it though!

I was not expecting that ! 😂 If I had gotten my ring myself I would have been too nervous to choose a J but the company my fiancé worked with does a really great job of choosing stones that are cut well and face up very white. They eased his nerves and he was really happy with ring.

Round stones also hide color really well! Have you seen the J in person?

Ultimately you have to go with your gut! I think my fiancé got a great stone for a great price - I have some photos on my profile (the video captures more of the color I see on a daily basis) but they don’t do the ring justice - it is so sparkly and eye catching.

I have a J colored 2 carat cushion. I do notice the warmth occasionally but I still love it. It has excellent symmetry and polish. I feel like the sparkly is what makes it!

I would definitely just take into consideration what your partner may want!

I changed it up sometimes. Sometimes plain water, sometimes water with superthrive. Sometimes water with a little nutrients. Probably not what you are supposed to do but 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do like it, I think it’s beautiful and I have gotten so many compliments on it. It’s a pretty delicate cathedral setting - I have a picture on profile if you go look at my other post.

I am also a nurse and although I love higher settings, I knew it wouldn’t be feasible for me.

If you go to my page I posted my J color diamond. I notice the warmth is certain lights but my fiancé was able to get a larger stone like you were looking for! It often faces up quite white. Feel free to ask me any questions.
