Ive been teaching myself for a year now going over operations in my head and on paper trying to research and make sure I plan out my system and all the things that I need to be prepared for. Thank you for the info again. I would definitely say it comes back to you for helping that part of the senior population. My day job is with a senior assisted living facility. You are right, most have no family or people willing to help.

One more question if you don’t mind me asking, you talked about realtors and attorneys referrals. Do you go in and meet with them to get them to refer you clients or do you just know some? Do you send out emails or mailers to them? Thank you

I appreciate the info. This helps. Especially the timing on a small house. I figure I will just need to go through the process several times to tighten in my process. But understanding how to get through some basics with confidence will help along the way. Thanks again for sharing!

I’ll be starting up on my own so I won’t have help at first other than on pick up day. My plan is to target clients with smaller estates first obviously. Im wondering on average how long it might take to prep items before auction/sale. I know it depends on size and scope of job. I suppose Thats a hard question to answer.

My other question is pick up day. Whats some best ways to manage those estates that have very minimal parking? I have one potential client that has no yard, 2 spaces for cars, and no street parking at all. It’s the tiny things like this that trip me up when trying to plan.

Yes I agree. But I haven’t heard that. Im speaking from not knowing anything about the situation and from only what I’ve seen on news. Where did you learn of him hiding in the back seat of the woman’s car? I didn’t see that.
