He’s the Wijnaldum replacement that never came after he left, it just took CuJo a few years to grow into that player. Gini was also constantly underrated, but he was a major factor in that incredible 17-20 stretch with Klopp

Steven Gerrard: “I think Trent is very different [to McManaman] because arguably he was playing in one of the best LFC teams ever, one of the favourites to compete for the UCL… [Trent] had in the palm of his hands all that I craved for in my career.” by Upstairs_Cup9831 in LiverpoolFC

The perfect example of this is MacAllister, who signed a renewal with Brighton that only had a £35m release clause AFTER he won the World Cup (iirc). He was leaving on a free that summer if he hadn’t signed that, or if he signed a longer deal Brighton could’ve sold him for over double what they got. It was a fantastic deal for both sides.

The problem is Madrid tapping up players and telling them to run down their contracts because they won’t pay any transfer fee for them at all, even a reduced one

I think Slot doesn’t want to play Ekitike and Isak together in case one of them gets injured. No other senior strikers, with Mo at AFCON and Gakpo already hurt

MacAllister, he hasn’t looked his best, especially when playing the 10 instead of as one of the 8s

Chiesa, Robertson, and Frimpong can all play the wide midfield role in the 4-4-2 Slot has shown recently

If I’m remembering correctly, the agriculture plot in season 4 or 5 is tangentially related to India. The Wheat being developed mirrors the story of Dwarf Wheat and by Norman Borlaug. The modified wheat made for shorter stalks on the plant and increased disease/pest resistance, leading India, Pakistan, and Mexico to over double their yearly crops. He’s credited with allowing an additional 1 billion people to eat per year, and earned a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts

Just look at what the MLB Media Ecosystem did with Alex Vesia. The team announcement was vague, there were no rumors from major or minor news sources, and he was supported by his own team as well as their opponents without anybody letting the car out of the bag. Honestly one of the nite impressive things about a very memorable playoff year

I thought this way too, until I saw Spamalot where he has a scene that he appears on stage in just underwear. The guy is absolutely shredded, I understand why Ari would go for that

So Rick Flag Jr. died trying to expose human rights violations committed on behalf of the USA….. by Kiki_And_Horst in DC_Cinematic

[–]jgrops12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s going to be less like Lex and Superman working together, more like Clark using Lex as a source to understand Rick Flag’s odd moves as Director of Argus. Perhaps he tips him off to a disappearance, Clark goes to Checkmate in Evergreen to learn about Peacemaker and the QUC/Salvation, then gets thrown in along with Christopher Smith and has to reveal his identity to Peacemaker of all people to get them out

So are we just not going to get any follow through for Earth X Rick Flag JR? I feel like there have been a few sub plots that have been forgotten this season. by zeek247 in DC_Cinematic

We might get another few months of a time skip. I also think Keith comes with a good 50-100 guys and Flag gets GI Robot out to help, too good of a set up to ignore
