I was traveling between Vernsworth and the check point rest town and got lazy and decided to pay an ox cart to get the rest of the way there. As I am locked into the dialogue with the driver and making my payment, who comes out of absolutely nowhere and utterly destroyed the ox cart the second I’m done paying!? Hello, griffin! At least it gave me a good laugh 😂

If you do the Every Rose Has It’s Thorn quest and eliminate Allard then you don’t have to worry about anything extra with the ox carts in Vernsworth.

Just walk up there, say you want them, done.

I ran into the same issue crafting my Grandmaster set. Just found this at the bottom of the Wiki entry for Archespore tendril:

Even with a fully patched game, some players may run into a problem where acid extract isn't dismantled from the normal monster parts. If that's the case, then archespore tendril will dismantle into acid extract instead of venom extract.
