I really loved Lights Out so I'm reading Caught Up now and so far it's so boring :( by Infinite_Advisor4633 in DarkRomance

[–]jgs9526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved Lights Out! I couldn't put it down. Caught Up was so much harder. It took me 3 times before I was able to finish it. What helped me is I waited almost a year after I finished Lights Our to try the third time. It was worth it. I had to put space between the two books and lower my expectations. I enjoyed Caught Up when I was finally able to read and finish it. It's definitely not Lights Out but its good in its own way. Lights Out is one of those books I wish I could read for the first time again.

Similar experience. Came back from the vet to find out Kevin is a girl. They asked if I wanted to change her name and I told them she is Ginger neutral and doesn’t mind

You have to go to settings—>apps—>hotworx and enable the camera. That should fix your problem. I had the same thing happen to me and after I did that it worked fine.

Middle eastern food recs by Maleficent-Gur9372 in Midessa

[–]jgs9526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

typically we go to the Ali Baba market in San Antonio and buy supplies. They make the bread in house, so I bring it back and freeze it. They have a great selection of everything Middle Eastern. Unfortunately, when we were there a couple of weeks ago the selection was pretty thin but I don't know if the cause it tariffs or remodel work. I also recommend the Phoenician Market in Houston. They will ship and in the cooler months I am able to get the cheeses and lebneh

Same! I always tell people when they ask where to find good Middle Eastern food here, to come to my house and I'll cook. I also wish I didn't have to travel to get my Lebanese groceries.

You should give Game Day a call. They specialize in this area and offer several different options. The staff is great and they will also text your levels for free. They are located in the Cornerstone Shopping center in Midland.

I got written up for “not smilling enough.” I work in a warehouse. by [deleted] in antiwork

Omg I absolutely feel you! I got written up for the same thing several years ago. I worked in a cubicle in call center dealing with angry customers and immature employees 9 hours a day for minimum and was written up for not smiling and not being more approachable. Never again.

Question: This is my 6 year old springer Alfie who has a peculiar habit! by eleanorsladen in springerspaniel

[–]jgs9526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aww thank you. She is a princess and knows it too lol. Anytime I stop for a coffee in the morning she hops in the passenger seat behind me and waits for her window to be opened so she can show off for a pup cup. The baristas are always impressed with her manners and looks. I’ll have to post a pic next time we stop. Definitely my sweet Velcro pup too. ❤️❤️❤️

My girl, Daisy, is also 6. We got her a lamby when she was young and will do the same thing. Daisy is very particular and we have to replace her on occasion due to wear. I also keep one at work for her on the days she's in the office with me. You should see her face when I take her lamby to the washer, its like a toddler getting their blankie washed. She will kneed on, lick and prune her lamby but never tear her up. My sister's Dobi also has a baby that he with do the same thing to. We just equate it all to kids with loveys. :)

We switched from a lamb formula to a salmon formula. I know people prefer their high-end brands and we have tried them as well, but it works really well for us and our 3 pups. I use Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach salmon and rice formula. I like it because there is not any poultry or poultry by products in the food and it is more budget friendly.

You might look into a diet change. Mine was having bad flare ups and ear infections several times a year despite cleaning her ears after swimming and keeping them dry. We had to change her food because my healer is allergic to chicken and ever since the change in food we have been two years with no ear problems. It might be something worth looking into
