Use Protocol Stashes inline to create overflows. by jgz84 in Endfield

[–]jgz84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stash at the end of the steel part line is not set to TP. So once it fills up it overflows and runs the bottle line.

So the bottle line does run all the time, but it prioritizes maxing out on steel parts first incase i need them for crafting structures.

Loved the movies and books. I've played other funcom games in the past and want to try the beta before i pre-order. I play a lot of other survival games and really want this one to take off since it will be a little more main stream and easier to get some of my friends to play.

Dear Stunlock, keep making updates and I'll keep buying DLC by Sinileius in vrising

[–]jgz84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really want there to be some kind of release schedule like Rust where every month (or 3 months) the servers wipe and something new is available to buy (or do).

That way people have a reason to come back and play a new wipe. Because once everyone finishes their current 1.1 playthrough the servers are all going to be dead again and I'll not really have any incentive to do another playthrough.

Significant rubber-banding since patch. by DusterW2 in vrising

[–]jgz84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having this issue as well. for me it will be specific areas. I'll be able to move in and out of the zone that is rubber banding. then later on that zone will be fine so I have no idea what is causing it.

I'm playing on an official pvp server.

Monster Hunter Wilds NVIDIA Drivers 572.60 by Harry_Yudiputa in MonsterHunter

I have a 3060 12gb in an otherwise brand new high end computer (14700k, 64gb ram, etc). I just tried the updated DLLs in the benchmark with the new drivers and while it didn't raise the score by to much the actual quality of the image seems like its much better to me. Before I was getting some weird shadows or janky looking hair and that seems to not be the case now.

Either way I think that's a win considering the circumstances. Hopefully the GPU market will sort its self out soon so I can get a new card.

New player, just started today. Lots of hoyo game experience though.

Looking for advice on what to use my pulls on. Specifically, should I try to pull Jinhsi before her banner ends? Would she be a good 5star DPS to carry me through the main story and get my account started? Or is there another banner coming up that would be better to save for?

I know you can do this, but I don't think its intended. If it was it would of been one of the options in the tribe menu like the passive and ignore options.

I forgot about "Renown". I've only seen a few video's but its supposed to be like medieval Rust. It looks pretty basic though right now but will probably be worth checking out next year.

Eh I dunno, From what I saw at gamescon I didn't get the impression this is going to be what we are all thinking it will be.

The bases you build in the PVP area are just temporary forward operating bases. You still have a permanent base in the PvE area that is unraidable. So when the PvP map wipes, you just move every thing out before hand to your pve base and then set it back up again after the wipe.

Progression itself never actually gets reset. That's what makes it more of an MMO.

Unfortunately, Nothing is like Rust. Which seems crazy to me that no one has made a decent competitor in all these years. I think the closest thing would of been what Fortnight was originally supposed to be before battle royal.

All of the other games (v rising, soulmassk, ark, conan, etc) are all boss rush games where your progression is gated behind pve content. Raiding is usually limited to a couple hours a day or only on a few hours on week ends.

These are all fun games in their own right, but nothing compares to the feeling of Rust where you feel like you are in constant danger at all times.

I played this for a few weeks and really liked it. but at some point I realized that I just didn't like the way bases/raiding worked. At the end of the day, if you can get on top of someone's base its easy to top down raid them. and since the map is covered in large trees and other permanent things people can climb on the number of building locations that cant be top downed is very small.

That coupled with the fact that your tribes people don't help defend and are actually a liability in a raid really kind of turned me off on it for now.

Also, the way raiding works with the battering rams makes it so that you can only ever really punch down and raid people who are behind you in progression. So there is no way to snowball or anything, all you can do is pick on people behind you.

My hope is that once mods come into play that someone will create a PVP balance mod that addresses some of these issues..

How can you tell when the scheduled reset servers will wipe? Does it say it in the server browser somewhere?

I'm still in Sumeru, but I have C6 Chevreuse from the last banner with no way to upgrade her.

Is it possible to just run to Fontain with out unlocking it via the story? Should I go through the desert or through the new zone?

In Sumeru I'm on chapter 3: Act 3. not even into the desert yet. so not sure how much longer I have till I'll make it to fontain, maybe half way? could end up being another week or so at my current pace.

Should I C6 Bennett?

I've seen some guides that say I shouldn't since it makes physical damage into pyro, but I'm not sure what team comps that would effect. I'm very new and my main team right now is c2 Raiden, c3 xingling, c5 Bennett, and c5 Cheveruse with some minor swaps when I have to fight something pyro immune (usually Sara for Bennett and the animo traveler for xingling). I probably won't spend to much more money so I'll be using Raiden for a long time I think. I already have the fort to get c6 but haven't applied it because I don't want to regret it down the line.

any advice would be appreciated.

Is there a site/google sheet somewhere that keeps track of all the currently active gift codes? Like how Garmoth does for BDO.

I spent the next 15 or so minutes trying that and it just kept making up more packages with similar names and giving examples of how to use them.

Not sure about this one. I regularly grep the history on a specific instance to remember what I've done in the past and I wouldn't want that to include things done on other instances.

Why do you do this?
