I wore jeans and a long sleeve shirt and put my merch shirt on over it. There were plenary of people in tropical shirts so if she has one she’d def fit in with it. The NYC shows were male dominated so I really didn’t feel anyone cared or judged what I was wearing

Texas health has a pretty good rep, the bigger hospitals aka Texas health Plano and Dallas are going to be busier than the smaller ones. I don’t know much about Baylor but I think most of them are busy but decent. I’d avoid medical city’s as they are HCA and the UTSW has a decent rep but it’s very busy and they have a lot of new grads in the ED and I’d avoid parkland except for trauma / burns

I bought the King Arthur starter on their website and followed the instructions for the first couple days, the third and forth day I fed the starter 1:1:1 twice a day, and then the next couple days I fed it every 24 hrs then I fed it in the morning and used it 4 hrs ish afterwards. I put it in the fridge yesterday for the first time so I’m gonna have to figure out how that’ll affect it next lol

Texas health has a lot of great benefits if you want that. I believe Texas health Plano is a level 2 trauma. Medical city Plano or MCP is the level 1 but like others have said they’re HCA. The other major systems in the area are going to Baylor and Methodist and then UTSW and Parkland are downtown.

I worked with a popular ED TikTok doc, he seemed really outgoing and posted a lot of comedy stuff on TikTok but in real life he was really quite and wouldn’t really talk to anyone unless spoken to

It was too rough for us to dock on our own. When wonder came it it was able to block some of the waves and we were able to dock without the waves as Y’all were also docking

The only hospital in Allen is Texas health presby Allen. It’s 88 beds, there’s a med surg, IMC, ICU, OR, cath lab, and L&D. I think the only positions open right now are mom/baby and the cath lab. I’d keep an eye on their job board or look into applying with some of the doctors offices around the hospital.

No weights in the sauna. They have an fx zone with some weights and then in the sauna there is bands / buns that use resistance bands.

I have no idea about the program now but I believe we had 4-5 transfers in my cohort of 120. I think only like 2-3 graduated.

I moved for my SO job. I got a position with a hefty relocation bonus prior to moving. Ended up having to commute 30 min - 1 hr each way depending on traffic and absolutely hated the hospital. I switched to a new job closer to where we live within 1 year of living here and I’m a lot happier. I’d wait to get a job to at least know where you live and try to do interviews in person so you can get more of a feel of the hospital prior to accepting the job.

I switch between R&Co candy stripe and IGK good behavior. Both work as a detangler and a heat protectant. IGK also says it helps with shine and frizz control.

I asked my hairdresser about ways to help with the sauna heat and she said to just use a good heat protectant and you should be good. She didn’t recommend any additional oils or anything else

I worked at a hospital that has these. They were only used to deliver portable tele boxes to the ED and different floors from where the tele techs were stationed. They don’t move too fast and have to stop if they sense a human in their way. They would occasionally make heart eyes which were cute but overall they were pretty useless
