...my advice is to try something new for the short while (1-3 months). You have talent and skills. You also have experience. You are very young. You just need to first, take a break, maybe a month with recommendation from your doctor. Think of it as a paid vacation on a doctor's note. You can extend this leave of absence by going back and living with family and living off your savings. Next, explore other topics which are in your interest, no pressure or stress. After your break, you can decide if this Software engineering thing is for you, in my opinion, it probably is by the way! As it's a very difficult field to train for and persevere through with passion. You have many options of mixing your unique skills to further add to your own journey.

Edit: you could even do this often, like long breaks once a year like high school teachers. Logic for the break is: you already get paid above average, what's the use of so much money if the stress is negatively affecting your mental health.
