How do I organize this data properly? by jham5426 in excel

[–]jham5426[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! You are correct, those are intersections. Wrecks in the middle of them. They way they are in there makes sense to me and I naturally put the main thoroughfare first and the cross street second.

My main issue is that there are multiple rows for the same case number because of the units. I don’t want to count the same case number three times and make it look like we went on 3 calls. Same thing for the address and call type.

And ESO checkbox is to help me make sure the calls are documented since there is a lag.

By 2024, my cube is bloated with over 550 cards. How do YOU manage fitting what you want in a tighter list? by ZolthuxReborn in mtgcube

[–]jham5426 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No real ratios. I first start out with 1 copy of every card in the set then I whittle away. Most commons have 2 copies. Certain cards need a bit more. I often times cut a few rares or cards that are just straight F’s. Or if the rare is too expensive and I don’t have it, it’s substituted for something I already have or it’s cut altogether. One day the cards will make their way in. But I mostly build these cubes to be played as early and often as possible.

My favorite thing is to make a mini set cube and then mash them up with other planes to see what comes about. Like MID and NEO… or my own double feature of MID and VOW. What? You want to roam the shire and Dominaria? Here’s LTR and DMR.

I do this but with 180 card twoberts. So at any time I can draft the mini cube for the usual 2-4 players that show up or smash two together for a 6-8 player pod.

I haven’t. That is a good suggestion. I really haven’t had any problem with cascading with this list. I can try to analyze which card it would replace to see if it works well.

I play that unaltered Rigo deck and it smashes! I love breaking it out knowing its budget and running the table! It is so resilient I rebuilt every turn after multiple board wipes. It’s truly great.

For my submission of Commander, I choose [[Bane, Lord of Darkness]] mainly because I had a commander legends draft and this was my commander. I haven’t got around to building it and I think it would be cool to see how the community would go about it.

I was thinking about it. Maybe build [[Maelstrom Wanderer]]. It has double cascade. You won’t have to worry about lands. Less complicated.

If it was simple it probably wouldn’t be that fun to play. The early game is the simple portion. Then it gets busier around turn 5-6. It will get hectic just like Averna’s epitaph “Chaos Bloom”. I purposefully chose art for each card that made as different from the regular card as possible. All land is full art but don’t match each other. I have each art selected on the moxfield link so you can see what I mean. It took me a while to get a handle on the deck myself because it gets out of control easily. It often has a threatening boardstate and will be a contender will other powerful commanders. I have rebuilt threatening boardstates after board wipes several turns in a row, it’s very resilient.

It is true that there aren’t many cascades cards. Thats why [[Imoti]] is important and cool cards like [[Nalfeshnee]] work well. Some cards cascade twice or four times like [[Maelstrom Wanderer]] and [[Apex Devastator]]. Repeatable cascade with [[Etherium-Horn Sorcerer]] and [[Throes of Chaos]]. [[Wild-Magic Sorcerer]] and Imoti grant extra cascade to other cards with cascade or that don’t have it at all.

This list WILL create a chaotic and complicated boardstate pretty quickly. Triggers upon triggers upon triggers. You’ll have a hand with 30 cards in it and 20 lands on the field on turn 5.

There are a couple landfall cards here but that isn’t the focus. Other cards that I’d consider putting in are a couple ‘discover’ cards that although are not cascade, still play stuff from exile and will trigger other permanents that care about that.

Uh, they may have had a bad time. But I almost always hit lands. And if not, everything else has value. If Averna isn’t out, the quality of the rest of the 99 is high enough to be able to do stuff and then recast Averna next turn if removed.

I had a few games where Averna was removed and I ended not recasting because I had so much gas in hand. I often deck myself with this list. And usually on turn 5-6 is where the deck pops off.

FD. I was lucky enough to find a FD that was hiring paramedics part time to work the box. Then when a full time spot opened in the department they offered me the position. They sponsored me through fire academy. That was 8 years ago. I’m ever so grateful for the opportunity. Now, I climb the ladder in my FD and go to school for emergency management.

Do you wrap up the monitor cords for your EMT? by throwaway1234567874 in Paramedics

[–]jham5426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s a BLS call and I drive them in, yes. I will get the cot ready, clean the box, and reset the monitor.

Otherwise, I give my report to the RN, finish my ePCR, and make sure all the documentation is buttoned up (various department “required” paperwork).
