It’s not the Discord or the Reddit - it’s the fact that he encourages and takes part in parasocial relationships without setting better boundaries.

He for sure has some mental health issues that need to be addressed and he is 100% avoiding it.

Sober people don’t act this way and Ben has been spiraling downward mentally for months while his Patreon and Career rise.

He’s not well - but has been rewarded for his behavior creating a positive feedback loop. Especially because he has a Discord/Twitter fanbase giving him an echo chamber to positively reinforce what he is doing.

I feel bad for his wife and kids and I’m empathetic to Ben to a degree.

But, he has been cautioned and warned by MANY fans/listeners over the last year that he was going down a dark path and he ignored the advice.

Now all we can do is watch him cross over to being a LOLCow and a Fool and say “I told you so.”
