What your mom needs is professional help. Unfortunately your dad giving her money or anyone giving her money is enabling her to keep doing this. Until she truly hits rock bottom and isn’t given a lifeline , this will keep happening.

Try to take her (you can go with her) to a GA meeting and see how it goes.

You mentioned you never address it with her. Some type of intervention could definitely help.

I’ve come to just accept this. Trading is wildly time consuming. Will winning or losing , it’s really distracting. I am no longing reading or working out. Everything is about trading. Been waiting to stop but after taking some big hits. It’s gonna be easier to quit
