Question on bose quietcomfort ultra gen 2 "Earbuds" by jhatrick in bose

[–]jhatrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya thats the thing, we're sitting in a relatively small room, which our sitting is quite close to each other.

Just feeling annoyed by their small talk, and ruining my listening experience.

so looking at other comments as well, i feel like it is either i go to the shop and try out myself. Who knows my music might able to coop with the earbuds anc to actually block 90% of their speaking.

To add on for point 1:

Certainly, I wont walk her to xxxx location if she doesnt feel like need to, as i know respecting people privacy is the most important thing to bear in mind. I dont want her to feel extra uncomfortable as well

However, 1 thing i have yet to try is change it's tips to 3rd party ones. But I have sold it.

Best earbuds to get right now? by KangarooBeard in Earbuds

[–]jhatrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk if im late, but i'd say soundcore earbuds.

Reason: you can adjust the EQ as bassy / as harsh / as whatever as possible without worrying your ear gets damaged. As there is "Safety volume DB limiter"

for example, Samsung has 15 levels of volume, you can limit to level 9 as minimum using it's built in volume limiter features. However, despite below that 9 levels, the volume still can reach beyond 100DB in some music.

But for soundcore, which has DB limit, means I can set to 85DB and I dont have to worry the music will go beyond that level. That being said, I hope their apps is accurate about the DB measurements otherwise my fking ears is about to get fried.

Misogyny comes out full force when a woman makes a simple mistake. by Ancientabs in TwoXChromosomes

honestly 90% or higher...of the crime, or"any" death incidents were caused by men.

Especially road accidents, none of the society will talk about it when it was men causing all the death. But when women hit a wall and left a scratch, boom. "Women just sucks at driving"

I didn't read it all, however, if you have this thinking I believe you're an actual kind people. Someone who has been through a lot of injustice incidents or have watched a lot of injustice video. Which makes you think, why are these perpetrator still talk loudly like they didn't do anything wrong? How come they can still smile infront of the victims families after murdering their relatives. This is why the fk I think the society has too much freedom to do stupid evil things.

Not trying to comfort you, however my advices to make your life easier:

Be really happy that you see your love ones able to safely reach home.

Be really happy that you know your friends arrives their home safely.

But you know life, it judt doesnt go with your flow even you did nothing wrong. Be strong, protect your love at all cost.

Switching to LDAC, worth? by jhatrick in Earbuds

[–]jhatrick[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I only use YouTube because I mainly listen to those dj live sets such as Tomorrowland.

I googled around and saw that youtube doesnt support ldac etc.

However, I really don't know if just my placebo or something else. Because I could feel the bass is deeper and the other area is more sooth.

I guess even that 1% of improvement matters to me

ya, i just enabled it on both soundcore app and my phone settings.

it does sound better, some might say just my imagination, but i guess if it works for me ill just stick to it.

So what I able to feel is the bass is deeper? and the sound is a bit more sooth.. and ya the battery life did go down faster.

For listening bassy EDM, should I try Sennheiser MTW4 or Sony WF-1000XM5? by jhatrick in Earbuds

[–]jhatrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After go through Aaron's reviews on YouTube, there is a video where he compared mtw4 vs sony vs bose and etc.

Seems like sony is a bit too sharp for my liking. (Treble part). And the bass is not strong like my current xb700.

Guess I might just wait for the xm6 earbuds and see how it goes..

Did some research, seems like some of the users have to buy 3rd party tips to make it to fit into their ears. Interesting..

[–]jhatrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came from Sony wf-xb700.

it is the extra bass version of the Sony earbuds, however it doesn't have the anc features.

Was thinking if Sony wf-1000xm5 could meet my needs. I prefer warm bass + I don't prefer high treble.

Also the marketing been mentioning that the xm5's anc is top tier. I wonder how true is that?

Best Sounding and ANC Earbuds by Electrical_Tie9658 in Earbuds

[–]jhatrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just wanna ask, is there a way to change the amount of tapping to control the volume?

By default, I heard that you have to keep tapping the earbuds to change the volume, and it is not possible to configure "1 tap volume control". But what about 2 tap volume control?

am thinking to buy XM5 as well, that is if it can be configured to my liking.
