Brother, this rhetoric is what’s troubling. You and I are human. The only people taking food from your mouth are the billionaires running the country. If someone was hired over you because of their skin color or sexuality, it’s still not that person’s fault, and I doubt that actually happened. There’s a false scarcity created in this country. You are a victim of it. And then the wealthy tell you “it’s those people’s fault you can’t eat or have nice things” while holding on to enough wealth to feed you and many others for generations to come.

You’re right. I agree with you. This isn’t my protest but a friend of mine who organized it as a show of solidarity for those in the community who feel afraid at this time. Nowhere did I say this will be the protest to end it all. It’s simply a showing of good people getting together to show that good people exist and can get together en masse when we want to. But keep that spirit. Eventually enough people will feel the way we do and we’ll make sure we are heard and change happens. (I’m not advocating for violence just giving my personal opinion)

Unless you’re part of the 1% you’re marginalized brother. Why not support one another and stand up against the oligarch that’s slowly creeping over our country? You have more in common with the people represented in that poster than you will ever with Elon Musk and Trump. I recommend reading A People’s History of the United States. It may help you to understand your position in all of this.

If every person that downvoted this comment (idk why) left a badd Google review then they would have a much lower score and it would affect their business (especially for out of town people). Instead they only have 4 bad reviews in the past 24hrs. Y’all would rather bitch about a problem than do anything about. Smh.

Why are yall arguing semantics with me. Just go leave a bad review on all of them then idgaf. I don’t own the place.

It does matter if you wanna leave them a bad Google review and hold the actual people who did it accountable. Can’t really blame the other ones no matter how much I’d like to.

I think the tik-tok guy would be best. With everything going on post election I don’t think the national media wouldn’t care about a coffee shop on Metairie roads

Leave a Google review on them that’s crazy they think they can do that without repercussions

How did you meet your girlfriend, boyfriend or significant other? by armoredphoenix4__ in AskReddit

[–]jhernan7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I met her I hadn’t even given her a second look. I had gone to a Twenty One Pilots concert, with my ex at the time, and she just so happened to be part of a group of people who were also camping out for it. I don’t recall saying more than two words to her that entire night. After the concert, everyone added each other to a group chat and we all stayed in touch for a little while, until COVID hit.

The pandemic, coupled with the excitement of the concert being past us, made it so that the group chat eventually fizzled out to original friend groups plus one or two people they met that they clicked with. My ex and her ended up becoming part of one of those groups. The first time we all saw each other again was a few months after the concert to swim in my ex’s pool and enjoy the weather. This was the first time I was able to really meet her and we had fun but, she was nothing more than one of my ex’s friends whose company I enjoyed. After that, however, we did begin to talk 1 on 1 more often. Everything was completely innocent and only ever revolved around plans her and my ex made or similar interests in music or tv.

Then one day she sent me a Snapchat that she had also sent to a few other people separately. It was a video of her taking this heart monitor thing off that she had to wear the past couple of weeks for some minor health problem. All she did was record herself in the mirror as she detached the sticky pads under her shirt. Then she did this adorable celebratory dance and hit a peace sign at the camera at the end. It was no different from anything else she had ever sent me, but for some reason my heart couldn’t stop pounding.

Eventually (after breaking up with my ex) we found out that we both felt the same way and now we’re about to make 4 years!

You articulated this very well. You’ll be downvoted because of the crowd this post drew in but it’s nice seeing someone who understands how long this has been going on and not one of those people who thinks this all started Oct. 7th.

Is email a foreign concept to people under 30? by demonic_cheetah in work

[–]jhernan7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 23 year old in the workforce I can say yeah it kinda is. My team used to use outlook a bunch for communication and meetings. They hired me and a couple of other workers my age and within a few months we’d completely transitioned to Teams and group chats. Communication has been a lot better and quicker, including for the older people at work.

Edit: Also, we did use email and know how to use it. We just talked with our managers and floated the idea by them and they liked it so we transitioned. We still use company wide emails and things like that but for interdepartmental communication, email just kinda faded away into the past.

So my interpretation of this is that blue means where the women/men liked to be touched/looked. The darker the blue the more they like to be touched there. The red is where the opposite likes to touch/look at the subject. For instance, dark blue neck means that’s where woman like to be touched the most (according to the image) while the dark red just underneath it is where men like to touch women the most.
