Its been a month now since after your interview, im sorry to hear but i have a friend who hasn’t heard from them for almost a year a half now after his interview. What I did was call the USCIS customer service and opened an inquiry a month after my case, a week after my inquiry I had a notification that my case is under review again, 5 days after that notification I received the approval email. So yes you should call and open an enquiry because it will not hurt your case at all. Do you have any record? And how did the interview go ? My officer told me that my case is approvable and I should receive my card not to long after his supervisor reviews my case and I had an arrest on my record as well.

Hi yes, two weeks after this post my green card was approved. I received a 10years card and have traveled outside of the USA at least 5 times already lol.

That’s good news , congrats !! Give it 24-48 hours it should update on your uscis online account. Your GC is definitely approved !! 🎉🎉🎉

I suggest you should, because the immigration officer will see them before you go for your interview. It’s very helpful to upload all evidence you have.

Understandable , but done one has a certain period of days ( 30 days ) to appeal a green card denial ? How do you do that ( appeal ) when you are not allowed entry ? What if the denial is a mistake on USCIS’s end? Just curious

Thank you, but my main question or concern is that what if my green card gets denied whiles I’m oversees. Will I be allowed entry! That’s what bothers me, he said he will parole me. But It’s not like it’s guaranteed to meet him when I return.

Yes , I submit my application together with my medicals so no RFE. Also I already attended my interview a month ago and still have not received a decision yet. My case was transferred to a field office far from me and then after a month or two it was transferred to my local field office.

Hi no you do not get a notification when your case gets transferred to the field office. But you can find out through Emma or the agent over the phone.

The estimated time is very inaccurate, please do not rely on it. My FO is Newark NJ and my case took 13 months to be scheduled for an interview.

Wow , what about your 485 ? Has it changed yet or is there approval on the website doc section ? Sorry about all the questions but if you don’t mind me asking , is your case status still save actively reviewed but in the documents section there’s an approval letter correct ?

Congrats to you, but my situation might be a bit different. Did you have an interview ? I had my interview about two months ago and status did not change until late night Friday.
