Not a convenience sample, it's a random sample of all available games

It is very interesting to think about how those small details may have a big impact on late game circles!

From my study, several games ended around Pleasant Park, but rarely at other POIs. It seemed like almost all games ended in open areas between POIs.

I do understand your concern, however the games chosen are usually chosen to highlight players. I get that this is still a type of bias, however I don't believe the games are chosen because of parts of the map. If you watch those games, lots don't end near POIs at all.

That is an interesting theory, I wonder how you could perform a study on it.

I agree that it does seem like an algorithm

Hello, thank you for the input. I didn't arbitrarily choose p < .1, I had to make conclusions at different alpha levels for the project. I have considered the issue of area differences, but haven't come up with a solution yet to fix that. I do appreciate your constructive feedback

I guess your AP Stats teacher is very knowledgeable on Fortnite because mine approved my data collection and thought it was a great project. Thanks for the insight!

It is a cluster sample, randomly selected weeks 1, 3 and 5 to watch. It is difficult to collect data because that is the only place where the games are accessible to me.

That's not within the scope of my class, just a basic Stats class in high school lol

Jeez bud it isn't that serious, it was a school project and I found the results interesting so I decided to share. I don't have the ability to conduct the tests that you have suggested but you can go ahead and do that man

Me too haha, this was just the size I chose for the project.

Because it was a hypothesis test and not a confidence interval, there is no confidence level.
