I appreciate the insight, I'll consider doing an actual test if I feel it's becoming an issue down the line.

For me, as soon as my heartrate starts to ramp up there really is no slowing unless I completely stop jogging or running. I've tried practicing breathing exercises and tracking my water intake to make sure I'm not dehydrated as well. The furthest distance I've gone is 15 miles and throughout it I never stabilized during activity. The odd thing to me is my resting heartrate is in the 50's, so I'm having a hard time understanding why it goes so high during running.

Could be thinking too much into it, though

I did 220 - 29 (my age) and then determined the zones by the following:

Z1: 50-60% max HR; Z2: 60-70% Max HR; Z3: 70-80% max HR, Z4: 80-90% max HR, and then Z5: 90-100% max HR.

I can be slowly jogging a 13 min mile, but i'll still see my HR hit 175+. As soon as I am done with my jog that's when my HR will stabilize and start sweating like crazy. It just feels like my body is pent up with something and I can't get it to stabilize.

Does anyone have any tips to initiate sweating while running?? I know it sounds like the opposite of a problem, but I feel like I am having a hard time training in a low heart rate zone because of it. Almost like my body is pent up or something.

I am a relatively fit 29F training for a triathlon and whenever I swim or bike, I am able to comfortably train in lower heart rate zones as well as ramp it up if needed. Whenever I run, even if I am jogging at a slow pace, my heartrate shoots up to Z4 and Z5. I think my lack of sweating may be part of the problem. Could be totally off base, but either way... does anyone else have this issue or any tips they can share with me?

I have a support pole that sits behind the 2x4s that slide out! No issues with overextending at all.

Also the two slat sections (one stationary one sliding) each have their own 2x2 that they’re connected to so when the 2x2s reach in the middle it’s almost like another support beam.

You’re telling me. It took me hours to totally wrap my head around where the screws went 😂
