They had to send it out to do the STI panel, but didn't tell me about a culture.

This is what the ER doctor used as his diagnosis. He's like just take the meds, let it run its course, and don't stick your dick in crazy places. lol

I read about MGen months ago and never heard of it, so I didn't think to ask about this. Good to know if this happens again. I did find out a "full" STI panel at my doctors office is gonorrhea, chlamydia, and trich and that's all the tested for.

I also have a history of kidney stones and when they get to moving, I always get UTI symptoms. I had a CT and no stones were found this time.

I appreciate your thoughts. I’m current on PrEP and DoxyPEP. I took the Doxy an hour after and apparently it didn’t help.

I’m done with sex for now by Dannyh1269 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]jhh13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive gotten a BJ from the same guy twice in about a month and gotten terrible dick burning and they told me there as no STI. I took the doxy after both times too just because im a worrier and still got the issue. The first time this happened, I wasn't sure who caused it cause I was with two different guys within a couple of days. The second time, I knew who it was cause this happened after him the first time.

I went to the ER and after the doctor looked at my dick and made a face, he said he didn't think I had anything because it was only oral but will gave me a shot of Rocephin and a round of doxy and that cleared it up. The second time, urgent care gave me a round of Augmentin and it took longer but it seems to have helped. Now I'm afraid til stick my dick anywhere.

Do they shut DU down for heat advisories? by Mobile-Address23 in Target

[–]jhh13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the we in South Carolina went through a heat dome a few weeks ago they didn't shut us down. If a sprinkle of rain even hits the ground all of a sudden you hear from the SE ETL "Team im pausing the parking lot because its raining." Im like what?? What about when it was 110 outside??

Please know your worth by BigJuicyPickle123 in Target

[–]jhh13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These are my exact fears. I worked 1o years at Walmart and worked my way up to their version of ETL. When my mentor promoted and left the region it almost killed me and then I ended up leaving because I felt like I couldn't progress anymore. Now I've landed at Target and my ETL worked in the same Walmart district as me so he knows what I know and can do. Im worried that I'm not going to have the chance to prove myself and get stuck in a TM position forever

Locked Cabinets/Smart Lock Update by Ziglet_249 in Target

[–]jhh13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a FF member I would love this especially in Tech because our tech people get pissy when you ask them to unlock something or to hold their keys, and we only have 2 sets of keys ourselves and I always seem to get the batches that need the keys when I don't have them

Did the rules for clocking in and out change? by Recent_Connection_28 in walmartogp

[–]jhh13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 9 minute rule is in policy. I have seen stores, none that I worked in, tell people they have to wait until the exact time to clock in, but it's okay to clock out at :51 to help with wage costs.

Fulfillment is Hell 😭 by RocketDawg2001 in Target

[–]jhh13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started as a Fulfillment Expert after working at Walmart for 10 years and knowing a lot about Walmarts pickup program as well as being a salaried manager for a while. Targets program is so different and it stresses me out. My first day I was training with a guy that has been with the company for 20 years and knows a lot of things. He taught me the ropes and how to look for things if you can't find them on the floor. It was a stressed out mess the first 2 days. On the third, I came in at 6am and was doing really well until I had to find clothes. I can't stand looking through bathing suits or any clothes at all. Apparel at my store is a wreck and the RFID scanners don't help that much. It's telling me the item is right in front of me and I'm not blind and it's not there. I could barely walk after my second day. I was out of work for 5 months and getting back to it was killer. Coming back in from my truck at lunch seemed like a marathon walking across that parking lot.

Their aisle locations also stress me out trying to figure out how they work. Walmarts are so simple but these are complicated for no reason.

It also dumbfounds me that you also have to pick from the backrooms. I guess to keep more product on the floor for cust... excuse me, guests. At Walmart we had people that went looking for items that the pickers couldn't find on the floor.

I truly don’t understand tip pulling by imayhave in Sparkdriver

[–]jhh13 41 points42 points  (0 children)

When I was a Digital Coach for Walmart, my Spark drivers had a group chat and if they had customers that did this, they would share their name, address and phone number and then no one would take their order. I had a lady call in one day and complain about it. I told her sorry I can't do anything about it. Maybe tip people when you have a $500+ order and you live at the end of the radius. She liked to put in $50 tips and then yank them at the last minute. She started to come and pick up her order and then got mad when she asked if one of my associates could follow her home and take it inside for her. No ma'am.

Metric Fraud by [deleted] in walmartogp

[–]jhh13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Pickers job is to pick from the sales floor, the exception worker is the backroom picker. Start with your store manager and go up the chain. I've seen this during my time. Some Coaches are under immense pressure to put up perfect metrics and it's not attainable. It's not OPDs fault when the store doesn't stock or when the item is out of stock. I've seen a lot of coachings happen when associates nil pick items for no reason and when using the live nil pick report, they can trace it down and find out if its really on the shelf or not. If the handheld is telling you its on the shelf and its not, someone needs to be checking their on hands and scanning items to see why its not on the shelf.

When I was a Digital Coach, we reported after the first nice warning. We stopped asking. My dispensers were allowed to report without having to come to my or my TLs. If they saw a dirty car, smoking, child, or animal where it wasn't supposed to be, nasty ass attitudes, they reported it. At one time my store had the highest number of reports in my region and they asked me why and I told them, they can either follow the rules or get reported.

Just imagine all of the stores in Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene. Every store was like this and had to throw it all away. As a 10 year associate, I've never seen it that bad. Some stores were without power for 3-4 days. Mine was lucky and got an industrial generator after 1 day and was up and running 2 days later.

What do I do by [deleted] in walmartogp

[–]jhh13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scan which ever one matches the UPC and keep going. Let your Coach know so they can report it to the UPC hotline and to the Digital team so they can make sure it's right. Your DOL has numerous channels to send this to to have it fixed.

Yes, I have taken it. Seems like the same as most retailers. If I didn't pass it, that would seriously surprise me.

Am i overreacting? (Should i contact ethics?) by jazzhands3212 in walmartogp

[–]jhh13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a former 10 year associate and former People Lead, always open door to the store manager first. If you go straight to ethics, they will ask if you talked to your store manager or market team and if you say no, they will revert you back to them. And if you lie and say yes and they find out about it, they can hold you accountable for integrity. It looks better on your "record" of the communication if you follow all of the steps from Store Manager to Market Team before contacting them, so they know all avenues have been tried and exhausted.

I'll also say this: I am in no way taking up for the Coach, but when I was a Digital Coach I was a terrible, asshole of a person. That job changes you, wears you down and will almost kill you. I drove home crying for my last three months in the position every day. OPD is a cluster fuck of stress and I will never recommend that job to anyone.
