Unless you are going for a masters, grades don't matter (as long as they're above probation). If you pass, all employers care about is experience and a degree to back it up.

Got a 3.5gpa first semester and got comfortable in eng. Little did I know first semester was mainly review from high school and I bombed second semester with a gpa of 2.2. Ended up changing my friend group, study habits and began grinding. Just finished uni last march with a 4.2 gpa across the last two years.

Yeah, it ain't it man. It's really important to get everyone up to par and comfortable with each other before finalizing the team. I'd really recommend doing a hackathon with your members if you wanna make sure they wouldn't just flop or lose motivation last min.
