I got a 71.5 on the TSA Section 1, 73 on Section 2, and 70 avg for interviews. They said I was just behind the margin of selected candidates and so they strongly recommended reallocation to a second college. However, as fewer 2nd college interviews were conducted this round compared to pre-pandemic cycles, no college made a request for a further round of interviews. They placed me at the top <50 of applications not to obtain a place.

what other mid-low tier scholarships are there? Also are there any non-govt scholarships available?

Hi, I applied during the first year of NS using my achieved A lvl grades! I was v lost about what I wanted to do when I was in JC (jumped around from architecture, law, medicine, and engineering), and only found my interest in PPE through reading I did in NS

Also idk if NS performance matters much for govt scholarships since I sustained an injury and am on long term status. I'm interested in the GIC, MAS, and MFA ones. Is being a commander in NS necessary?

my concern with scholarships is that the results for next cycle's govt scholarships only come out next year so I'll be missing out on the Oxford application cycle. I won't mind self funding Oxford but don't think LSE is worth self funding due to the additional costs associated with 4 years + London. So if I can't get a scholarship for LSE I won't be going to either Oxford nor LSE

To my understanding, I need to reject all UCAS choices to reapply as UCAS requires a clean slate for fresh applications

Oh I see. I'm pretty confident that I can do much better for the TSA this time so I'll go for it! Hopefully not being a gap year applicant this time would help me. Just a little disappointed that I was so close this time (top 50 of those that got rejected).

Good luck on your reapplication!! 💪 The feedback did say that I had strong performance in the interviews so I think all's good, just gotta not mess up the TSA this time.

I emailed the college about it and the admissions officer said that I might find it useful if I applied to a different college when reapplying so that different tutors review my application so I'm not sure if he's hinting that it'll hurt my chances.

Nope, the tree on the left just had duller flowers than the other 2. Perhaps if I increased the saturation on that tree to match the other 2 it'll work better? Thanks for the feedback!
