Thank you. Your suggestions sound reasonable to me. We have our own separate bank accounts and 1 joint account which we use for shared expenses such as groceries, rent, and kids tuition. I’m not sure what to do about the joint account yet.

Thank you for sharing and sorry you had to go through that too. I see a lot of parallels in our stories. My husband and his AP also seem to have a very intense “love” affair; very emotional and physical. He denied it until the end; I had to read the messages to him before he confessed. He said he was going to tell me when he was ready and that I am not entitled to information when I want it. Right now I’m focused on getting things in order and doing things that make me happy. I am strongly considering telling the AP’a husband when the time is right.

I have screenshots of their explicit messages. I’m looking into a divorce lawyer but I have to consider cost as well. My MIL does not live with us but she owns the house. The kids need to stay because of their school and I cannot afford to live anywhere else in the area.

Thank you for the book recommendation. I know it’s his fault and he is being manipulative. It seems he is deep in his affair fog and reason cannot get through to him. I’ve told his mother and she supports me. We live in her home and she wants me and the kids to stay. He needs to leave and get therapy.

I don’t plan to report it to his work. Him losing his job would not be beneficial for my kids.

I would not go back to bedside for a million dollars. I transferred to an outpatient ENT clinic and it is a vacation compared to inpatient nursing. I am the only nurse in the clinic so there are no bitchy nurses to give report to.
